The location of the Golden Nugget places you right on Fremont Street. It’s vibrant, busy, and full of energy. I enjoyed the amazing pool area, especially the shark tank – it's a unique experience lounging by the water with a view of these incredible creatures swimming just inches away. My room in the Carson Tower was spacious, clean, and offered a comfortable stay. However, I encountered several issues. The check-in process was confusing and slow. The staff didn’t seem very helpful when I was trying to resolve my situation, which added unnecessary stress to my trip. Housekeeping missed cleaning my room one day, and I had to call for towels and toiletries. Another downside was the lack of breakfast options within the hotel, as the prices were steep and choices were limited. I also found the air conditioning in my room to be quite loud, which affected my comfort.

Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse served up sizzling steak that had us coming back for more. Plus, the cozy vibe at the bar was ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. A definite highlight!

Now, on the flip side, the dusty details of housekeeping had us scratching our heads. Who knew we had to play phone tag just to get a tidy room? Just wish someone filled us in at check-in!

Rooms need immediate upgrades!!! !!! Outdated furnishings are off-putting!!! Security feels lacking after dark!!! One trash can only in the room is inconvenient!!! No fridge or coffee maker means basic needs are neglected!!!

The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and very spacious with a comfortable bed, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were attentive and made our stay enjoyable.

More elevators would improve accessibility for seniors.

I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was, especially Desiree at check-in who made the whole process smooth and effortless. The room was spacious and clean, and I was able to see the Fremont street lights right from my window, it was kind of a surreal experience at night.

It wasn’t cheap, but for what we got, it was still reasonable.

The stay was enjoyable, particularly because of the great location near Fremont Street and several attractions like the Neon Museum and the Mob Museum. The restaurant options within the hotel were quite good, and the staff in the dining areas were friendly and attentive. However, the room could have been cleaner, and some noise from the elevators made it difficult to fully relax at times. Overall, it served its purpose well for our trip.
